If you’re looking for unique ways to differentiate your business, see developing trends in home improvement and network with other retailers and industry leaders from around the world, the 2018 EISENWARENMESSE – International Hardware Fair (IHF) is a must-visit exhibition.
From March 4-7, 2018, more than 2,600 vendors from dozens of countries will showcase their latest products across 472,440 square feet of exhibition space. Manufacturers, buyers and business leaders from across the world will gather to discover the latest home improvement products and explore the economic trends shaping the industry at the four-day event held in Cologne, Germany.
Global leaders in tools, industrial supplies, home improvement and fixing and fastening solutions are scheduled to attend IHF, including seven Canadian and nearly 50 U.S. exhibitors.
This year, IHF is presenting a two-day e-commerce summit to help exhibitors and trade visitors understand how online sales are increasingly important in today’s economy. The 2018 IHF will also see the return of the DIY Boulevard, which premiered at the 2016 IHF and gives DIY manufacturers the chance to display their products directly to leaders in the hardware and home improvement channel.
“The premiere of the DIY Boulevard was a total success. The concept is totally in line with the suppliers’ demand. Due to the high demand, we are not only fully booked, but have also been able to extend the boulevard by 235 meters,” Catja Caspary, vice president of Koelnmesse Inc., the American arm of the organizer, says.
The North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) will be in attendance at the 2018 IHF to connect with retailers and manufacturers, chart emerging industry developments and get a firsthand look at the latest products manufacturers are producing for consumers. For more information, contact Dan Tratensek, NRHA executive vice president and publisher.
As one of the largest international exhibitions for the hardware and tool sector, IHF distinguishes itself as a must-visit business-to-business fair for trade and commercial hardware users that sets international industry trends. It takes place every other year in Cologne, Germany, and in 2016, 2,670 vendors from 55 countries participated in the event.
