Ace Hardware Plans Support Center Expansion

Ace Hardware Corporation is planning an expansion for a New York supply center that serves nearly 500 stores in nine states.

The multimillion dollar project will add 400,000 square feet of new warehouse space over the next two years.

Ace is expanding its supply center, which is located near Wilton, New York, due to the company’s “record growth and financial performance,” according to the company.

With more than 4,800 hardware stores locally owned and operated across the globe, Ace is the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the world. The company is headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. Ace and its subsidiaries currently operate 17 distribution centers in the U.S. and also have distribution capabilities in Shanghai, China; Panama City, Panama; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
