Bernzomatic Offering Scholarships for NRHA Training Program

Worthington Cylinders, parent company of Bernzomatic, recently launched a campaign to sponsor four scholarships for NRHA’s Retail Management Certification Program (RMCP) in 2016.

The Bernzomatic Find Your Fire Retail Management Certification Program Scholarship campaign was launched earlier this month to provide four deserving employees or owners working at independent home improvement retail stores with scholarships to attend the six-month, industry-focused leadership and management development program.

Two of the scholarships will be awarded to students applying for the spring 2016 RMCP class, which starts in February, with the remaining two reserved for the fall 2016 class that starts in September. Each scholarship is valued at $6,250 and will cover 50 percent of the tuition.

“We’re delighted that Bernzomatic is supporting independent retailers by providing these scholarships,” says Scott Wright, executive director of NRHA’s Retail Leadership Institute. “It shows their dedication to independent retailers and a commitment to help ensure the vitality and future of our industry.”

To apply for one of the scholarships, fill out the scholarship application form. The deadline to submit scholarship applications is Dec. 31.
