The Yankee Hatchet is made of polished and hardened carbon steel, making it light to carry and use in camping environments. The wooden handle is water-varnished and is available in ash or hickory stains. A leather lace for hanging is included. The hatchet has a 15-inch handle and weighs 1.35 pounds.
