Final Days to Nominate a 2019 Young Retailer of the Year

The clock is ticking to submit a nomination for the 2019 Young Retailer of the Year program!

For 23 years, the Young Retailer of the Year program, presented by the North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA), has highlighted the successes of talented, driven retailers under the age of 35 who bring new ideas, new opportunities and new perspectives to the independent home improvement channel.

By submitting a nomination for your operation’s rising star, you place them alongside 166 previous honorees who have exemplified the power and potential of independent ingenuity. There are many benefits to Young Retailer of the Year honorees, including industrywide exposure and educational scholarship opportunities to NRHA’s Retail Management Certification Program.

NRHA is searching for independent home improvement leaders who stop at nothing to engage customers, empower their operations and improve their communities. Take a look at the 2018 class of Young Retailer of the Year honorees to learn how these individuals are finding purpose within the industry.

All nominations are due Feb. 28. There’s still plenty of time to gather everything you need to submit a stellar nomination for this year’s program. Get a few pointers from Scott Wright, executive director of NRHA’s Retail Leadership Institute.
