Halloween-Themed Window Is ‘Talk of the Town’

The brooms displayed horizontally like flying witches’ brooms in the window at Troup True Value make for a playful Halloween display.

And the note with them is a fun play on words: “Witch Broom?”

Cindy Troup, co-owner of the store in Sinton, Texas, found inspiration for the holiday window display online.

“I saw it online and thought it would be a good idea for our store,” she says. “I actually found it a few years ago but just gathered the materials this year.”

She got the display set up in time for Halloween and area residents seem to like it so far.

“We’re in a little bitty town,” Troup says. “My sister-in-law works at the school, and she came in one day and said, ‘I just wanted to let you know your window is the talk of the town!'”

Want your store window displays to be popular? Keep an eye on the calendar — not just the major holidays — and find ways to create timely holiday displays that use products you sell.
