HDW Appoints New President

Billy Stapleton has been appointed the new president of Hardware Distribution Warehouses, Inc. (HDW) by the organization’s board of directors. The move comes after previous president and CEO Kenneth Beauvais resigned earlier this month.

Stapleton has been with HDW for 23 years. Prior to becoming president, he was the company’s vice president of merchandising. He has worked in the wholesale hardware industry for over 30 years, and began his career with Higginbotham Pearlstone in Dallas, Texas.

“The board is confident that, under Stapleton’s leadership and guidance, HDW will continue to move forward,” the company said in a statement.

Hardware Distribution Warehouse, Inc. is an employee-owned company and provides independent hardware stores and lumberyards a complete source for retail products. HDW is a member/owner of Distribution America, the nation’s largest network of independent hardware and paint sundries wholesale distributors.
