Home Depot Selling Products From American Cannabis Co.

The Home Depot, Walmart and Amazon have all agreed to grow individual relationships with a company that has its roots firmly planted in the cannabis industry.

Both of the big box retailers and the e-commerce giant have begun selling products from the American Cannabis Co. (ACC) online. The ACC is a full-service consulting solutions provider and seller of products to the cannabis industry through the company’s online platforms, according to a press release from ACC.

The products available for purchase on Amazon.com, Walmart.com and HomeDepot.com include SoHum Living Soils® potting mix and Dr. Marijane Root Probiotic. These gardening products are manufactured by Earth Alive Clean Technologies and can be used for growing anything—not just marijuana, ACC says.

“ACC is excited to have the opportunity to offer our products online through these major retailers,” Terry Buffalo, CEO of American Cannabis Co., says. “We are committed to getting our products out in the market and into the hands of the cultivators who can truly benefit from these solutions that we provide.”

The company has spent years perfecting SoHum Living Soils® potting mix blend, as well as the brand messaging, Buffalo says.

“This fully amended, pH-buffered potting mix will continue to disrupt the agricultural markets as a ‘Just Add Water’ super soil that acts to eliminate the human error element from cannabis and non-cannabis crop cultivation,” he says.

Products the company has rolled out through these online retail platforms also include Dr. Marijane Root Probiotic, which “is packed with all the beneficial microbes you need to awaken the nutrients in your soil or soil-less (hydroponic) medium,” Buffalo says.

The marijuana industry has been attracting more and more attention in recent years. Medical marijuana is legal in 29 states, and it’s legal for adults over the age of 21 to smoke marijuana without a doctor’s note in nine states, according to Business Insider.

“Legal marijuana sales were expected to hit $9.7 billion in North America in 2017,” according to a report from Arcview Market Research. In addition, Arcview expects the legal market to total $24.5 billion in sales before the year 2021.
