More Than 2,000 Exhibitors Expected at International Garden Fair

The international garden fair spoga+gafa is slated to feature more than 2,000 exhibitors from 59 countries this year.

The annual event, which is scheduled for Sept. 3-5, will again be located in Cologne, Germany, and will serve as a showcase for outdoor living and lawn and garden trends from around the world.

Sections of the garden fair’s more than 2.4-million-square-foot show floor will be divided into product themes, including Garden Living, Garden Unique, Garden Creation & Care and Garden BBQ.

Exhibits will also explore trends in smart gardening tools, outdoor kitchens and battery-powered products. Manufacturers will be on hand to do product presentations, according to information from Koelnmesse GmbH, the company that organizes spoga+gafa.

“In the garden furniture, grill and outdoor decoration sections, [spoga+gafa] has the world’s largest coherent [offering] and that is unique,” says Katharina C. Hamma, chief operating officer of Koelnmesse GmbH. “With an over 80 percent share of foreign exhibitors, spoga+gafa is once again achieving a fantastic result and is thus underlining its position as the leading international garden fair.”
