New NRHA Services Available in 2016

As your industry trade association, the North American Retail Hardware Association’s (NRHA) mission is to help independent hardware stores, home centers and lumberyards, regardless of wholesale affiliation, become better and more profitable retailers. In order to fulfill that mission, the association continually develops new tools and resources for its members, and 2016 is no exception.

In addition to the many resources already available through NRHA, the following new and improved programs and tools will be offered in the new year.

New and Updated Training Programs
NRHA will be releasing brand-new versions of the Selling Skills & Customer Relations and Retail Merchandising courses, complete with interactive modules and an updated user interface, to make the classes easier to use and provide a more engaging experience.

Train the Trainer Guide
This new downloadable Train the Trainer Guide will help store owners learn the benefits of formal training, develop employee training programs, implement best practices for starting and maintaining a successful program and understand training courses available through NRHA.

Additional Insurance Options
NRHA’s new partnership with Member Insurance lets retailers take advantage of 10 new areas of business insurance, including Worker’s Compensation, General Liability and Property. NRHA also offers a health insurance program alternative, which provides health, vision, dental and life insurance plan options.

2015 Cost of Doing Business Study
NRHA’s Cost of Doing Business Study has long been used as the benchmarking resource for retailers, and the association is enhancing the study even more in 2016 by providing additional tools to help you improve your company’s performance.

If you are interested in association membership or any resources available through NRHA, please contact Member Services at 800-772-4424 or nrha@nrha.org. Visit NRHA online at www.nrha.org.
