This year, the North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) is giving you the opportunity to discuss all three at no cost. On Dec. 7, retailers, manufacturers and distributors will gather in Chicago for the association’s third annual State of Independents Conference. The event will include research presentations, retailer panels and networking opportunities.
Similar to previous years, NRHA will share new, proprietary research about the performance and direction of the home improvement market. Association and industry leaders will also discuss insights into the challenges and obstacles to growth retailers face. Additionally, two new themes are being added to the State of Independents Conference agenda this year: technology in retail and next-generation leaders.
This year’s event will feature four retailer panels focused on topics such as economic and external challenges, young retailer insights and how independent retailers are responding to technology’s impact on the market. The conference will also include a proprietary research-based seminar on what today’s consumers find attractive about online home improvement shopping, how independent retailers measure up and what retailers are doing to build their online presence.
