Mobile Classes Convenient for Employee Training

When you have a knowledgeable employee, you have a better chance of selling the products your home improvement store offers.

A trend in contractor training is the use of quick mobile videos to teach courses on business practices and safety, according to an article by Contractor.

Video courses cover topics such as back safety, ladder safety, hand tool safety and customer service, according to Mastery Technologies, which creates mobile training classes. You can browse through the company’s videos to see if they will be useful in training your store employees.

Mastery Technologies publishes “interactive training videos in an eLearning format across multiple industries,” according to Contractor.

Benefits to mobile training include having a database of training videos on hand and being able to do quick training sessions from the users’ phones, the Contractor article explains.

You could use training videos to find new ways to promote products or teach safety practices to workers in the rental department. What your employees learn can be passed on as safety tips or product suggestions to customers.
