Woodson Lumber Company Celebrates 100-Year Anniversary

Woodson Lumber Company is celebrating 100 years in service this year.

According to local newspaper, The Eagle, one hundred years ago, two Missouri brothers made their way to the Brazos Valley, where they settled in and took over a lumber business known today as Woodson Lumber Company. Since then, Woodson Lumber has remained a family-owned and operated lumber, outdoor and home supply business and is now in the hands of third and fourth-generation Woodsons.

Today, the company has about 120 employees working and seven locations — Caldwell, Bryan, Brenham, Lexington, Groesbeck, Mexia and Buffalo.
