Three home improvement retailers ranked in the top 10 of “Happiest Retail Employers,” a list generated based on employee reviews of the companies.
Ace Hardware is No. 2 on the list from CareerBliss, which is a website focused on helping employees find greater satisfaction in their careers.
Among the key considerations for the list rankings include “company culture, compensation, growth opportunities, work environment and more,” according to CareerBliss.
On the “Happiest Retail Employers” list, Ace only trailed Starbucks. Lowe’s ranked No. 6 and Home Depot was No. 9. Other retailers included on the top 10 list were Ikea, Apple, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Walgreens and Office Depot.
“All the retailers on the top 10–whatever their wares–receive high marks from employees in three crucial areas: Positive relationships with coworkers, strong employer support, and the opportunity for professional growth,” according to Forbes.
