Ace Hardware Ranks High for Omnichannel Services

Recognizing excellence in omnichannel services, the Total Retail 2023 Top 100 Omnichannel Retailers list includes The Home Depot and Ace Hardware in the top 10. Ace Hardware tied for sixth place with Abercrombie & Fitch with a score of 80.5, while The Home Depot was second with 88.5 points.

The rankings are based on the omnichannel services offered across the organizations, including supply chain, loyalty, payments and customer service, and the execution of those services. The nine judging criteria included buy online, pick-up in-store capabilities; curbside pickup; in-store availability search; loyalty points and rewards; and more.

As the lines between digital and physical channels continue to blur, retailers need to offer a seamless experience between online and offline.

“Retailers should prioritize having a central location for data to use across all consumer touch points and channels,” says Amy Jerusalmi, chief client officer of Cordial, sponsor of the study. “The data can be used to build seamless customer journeys, hyperfocused and hyperpersonalized content and deliver an exceptional experience—at the right time and place.”

Along with the omnichannel ranking, Ace Hardware also recently received honors as one of the top franchises, coming in at No. 5 on the Franchise Times’ Top 400 List.
