Association Plans China International Hardware Show

The China National Hardware Association is planning its fall show, which is an international exhibiting platform for the home improvement industry that connects buyers and manufacturers from across the globe.

The China International Hardware Show is scheduled for Oct. 21-23 in Shanghai, and is expected to draw 3,000 exhibitors and more than 40,000 buyers. The show will highlight hardware industry trends developing in China and around the world. The volume of China’s hardware industry imports and exports totaled $124 billion in 2014, with China’s exports accounting for about $101 billion of that total.

For show attendees coming from outside China, the China International Hardware Show is offering opportunities for tours of Chinese distribution channels, meetings between exhibitors and buyers and possible free translation services and accommodations.

The China National Hardware Association has nearly 3,000 members and works to build up China’s hardware industry through collaboration between businesses and the government. The trade association is organizing the show with Koelnmesse, a company that plans large-scale commercial events and has worked with the International Hardware Fair and spoga+gafa in Cologne, Germany.
