Are You Aware of Your Health Insurance Options?

As a business owner, you understand the importance of offering competitive wages and a solid employee benefits package to attract and retain talented employees. However, finding affordable group health insurance can be difficult.

Whether you just want to look at your options or you’re ready to switch to a new plan, the North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) wants to help you make the best informed decision for your operation.

The NRHA Health Insurance Program is designed to save you money without sacrificing benefits, according to Bob Chiesa, owner and president of Custom Benefits Insurance Group Inc.

“I always encourage people to look at their insurance options,” Chiesa says. “It costs nothing to review what’s available to you. That’s where the NRHA Health Insurance Program has proved so valuable and successful for so many retailers.”

To help retailers, Chiesa has answered some of the frequently asked questions an employee might have. Do you every wonder if the employer is required to make a certain contribution on behalf of their employees to the medical plan? Perhaps you want to know how the rates are established and how they are compared to a traditional insurance market. Learn the answers to these questions from Chiesa in this video.

Your trade association offers the NRHA Health Insurance Program to offer you an affordable health insurance option that can save you money. The plan provides benefits and safety in numbers and has programs in place to contain and manage your costs. Plus, it isn’t restricted by state boundaries. Additional benefits include dental plans, vision plans, group life insurance options and disability insurance offerings.
