Ames Research Laboratories received a Pro Tool Innovation Award for the Capstone Granite. The awards honor innovative construction and outdoor power equipment products and were voted on by a team of contractors, construction business owners, tradesmen and media professionals. Products won based on their ability to demonstrate either innovative features, advanced power delivery, groundbreaking ergonomics, technological advancements, advancements in job site safety or above-average value.
The 2022 Pro Tool Innovation Award winners represent the companies and products driving progress and advancement in the construction, landscaping and manufacturing industries. This year, 99 different manufacturers and brands submitted over 465 products in dozens of categories for a chance to take home a 2022 Pro Tool Innovation Award.
“It’s hard to believe this is our 10th year hosting the PTIA Awards. Each year we continue seeing more and more innovation from both large and small companies that manufacture tools, accessories, fasteners and other products you might find on construction sites, on a landscape professional’s trailer or simply around the home,” says Clint DeBoer, executive director of the Pro Tool Innovation Awards. “The constant striving we see from manufacturers and product managers who seek to innovate each and every year is quite humbling.”
