Shuman Cash Supply Honors 3 Golden Hammer Recipients

An outstanding honor in itself, the Estwing Hammer Award recognizes retailers in the independent home improvement channel who have been a part of the industry for 50 years or more. At Shuman Cash Supply in Jacksonville, Florida, three employees earned the distinguished honor.

Roger Futch has been with the company for 53 years, Virginia Shuman has served for 57 years and Doug Shuman marked 58 years with the operation.

Orgill sales representative Sean Hubner says it was a privilege celebrating such exceptional dedication to the industry and getting to present Roger, Virginia and Doug with their Golden Hammer awards from Estwing.

“All three have each dedicated an incredible 50-plus years to the independent retail hardware industry, with all of them working together at the same store for that entire time,” Hubner says. “This is an extraordinary accomplishment deserving of the highest recognition. It’s a privilege to work with such dedicated and passionate individuals.”
