CNRG Acquires Moore’s Hardware

Central Network Retail Group, LLC (CNRG) recently acquired Moore’s Hardware in Dahlonega, Ga., an 11,500-square-foot store with an additional warehouse and lumberyard.

Moore’s sells an assortment of lumber, building materials, millwork, hardware, paint, electrical and plumbing products. Lamar Ricketts, Moore’s former owner and manager, has agreed to stay and consult with CNRG.

With this acquisition, CNRG now operates five stores in the Georgia market, which started earlier this year, CNRG chairman Jimmy R. Smith.

Working to build a multi-format, multi-brand operating company through strategic partnerships and acquisitions, CNRG currently operates 44 home center and hardware stores in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina and Georgia under nine separate brands.
