CNRG Adds New Store in Tennessee

John, Marcia and Justin Wagner, owners and operators of Germantown Hardware in Germantown, Tennessee, will sell their business and operating assets to Central Network Retail Group (CNRG).

Wagner and his family have owned the store, formerly an Ace Hardware store, since 2000. CNRG currently operates more than 110 hardware stores, home centers and lumberyards across 16 states.

“Our family has truly enjoyed the opportunity to serve the Germantown community over the years and we are highly confident in CNRG’s ability to carry on the business going forward,” John Wagner says. “I am especially proud to be turning the store over to another business from the Memphis area.”

Germantown Hardware, which offers a full assortment of outdoor power equipment, grills, power tools, small engine repair and more, will keep its name and operate as CNRG’s 17th brand.

“We have wanted a store in the Memphis area for a long time, and Germantown Hardware is the perfect place for CNRG to start,” says John Sieggreen, CNRG president. “The store has a great reputation with local customers, known for providing service with a smile and being a ‘real hardware store’. We are thrilled to have them on our team.”

Previously, CNRG announced plans to expand in Arkansas. Sieggreen was recently a guest on Episode 11 of the “Pep Talk” podcast, sharing how his company is adapting amid COVID-19.
