Do it Best Corp. Expanding Into Saudi Arabia

Do it Best Corp. has come to an agreement with a new overseas affiliate to develop its first retail locations in Saudi Arabia.

The agreement provides Saudi Arabia-based Albawardi Group exclusive development rights in the country and will lead to Attken Do it Center® locations throughout the nation. It also makes Saudi Arabia the 55th country in which Do it Best Corp. members operate independent home improvement stores.

“Albawardi Group is the perfect partner for us to enter this promising, underserved market,” says Bob Taylor, president and CEO of Do it Best Corp.

As its worldwide presence has grown, Do it Best Corp. also continues to enhance its internationally focused programs and services, including its foreign-to-foreign product distribution and customizable store design options.

“The demand for U.S.-style retailing is very strong in many countries around the globe,” says Tom Barfell, director of international sales and business development for Do it Best Corp. “Where we truly shine as a partner in these many countries is in the quality of our programs and brand, the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our logistics, and in our ability to grow with our members as they add locations and expand in their markets.”

The agreement with Albawardi Group is the latest in a series of developments driving international expansion for Do it Best Corp., which is headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The company has consistently expanded internationally over the past decade, but growth has been especially strong in several regions, including Southeast Asia and Central and South America.
