Door Hardware and Security Product Wholesaler Unveils New Brand

Midwest Wholesale Hardware Holdings has unveiled a new brand identity to reflect a renewed focus on providing total product solutions and technical support to retailers.

Midwest Wholesale Hardware Holdings owns national door hardware wholesalers Midwest Wholesale Hardware, Akron Hardware, Strauss Lock Distributors and Hardware Suppliers Inc. (HSI), but as a result of the brand revamp, all properties will now operate as Banner Solutions.

Company officials say the new business name and brand will enable it to provide comprehensive residential and commercial door hardware solutions to retailers more easily than ever.

Banner Solutions is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, and has sales office locations in Ohio, Iowa, North Carolina and Florida. It operates 11 distribution warehouses nationwide which can provide next-day delivery to more than 75 percent of the U.S.

“We’re proud of what we’ve built with our legacy brands, but we know that history alone won’t take us where we want to go. The future requires a different way of thinking about the things that matter,” says Brendan Deely, CEO of Banner Solutions. “More than having products on hand, it’s anticipating a customer’s needs. More than offering up options, it’s helping each customer make the best decision for the challenges they face. And more than just solving the simple problems, it’s seeking solutions when others can’t or won’t. At Banner Solutions, we’re pushing the boundaries to deliver innovative solutions that transform our industry.”

Banner Solutions carries all major residential and commercial door hardware brands. The company says it has a full locksmith shop and can custom-manufacture door hardware to meet customers’ needs.
