EISENaward Returning to International Hardware Fair

For the seventh year, the EISENaward is returning to the Eisenwarenmesse International Hardware Fair held in Cologne, Germany, from March 3-6, 2024. The award is a collaboration between the International Hardware Fair and the Central Association of the Hardware Trade (ZHH) and honors the new ideas, inventions and solutions in the hardware industry in 2024.

Applications to submit a product for nomination are open through February 7, 2024. Products can be submitted in three categories: innovation, design and ergonomics and sustainability.

From this pool of products, a panel of judges—including representatives from trade, research, media, design and retail—chooses 10 products to be showcased at the show in a dedicated area between Halls 10 and 11. The award ceremony announcing the winners takes place the morning of March 3, kicking off the show.

“As a trend and innovation showcase, the Eisenwarenmesse International Hardware Fair shines the spotlight on the most innovative ideas in the hardware industry every two years,” says Sebastian Hein, director of Eisenwarenmesse International Hardware Fair. “The EISENaward is the highlight of the event, recognizing the creativity and innovative power of our exhibitors and bringing the latest products to life for trade visitors. We are excited about the applications that we will receive this year and are looking forward to honoring the best among them.”
