The deadline to apply for the North American Hardware and Paint Association’s (NHPA) Leading Your Team course, part of the Foundations of Leadership program, is fast approaching—apply by May 1.
Are you looking for ways to help managers or supervisors find success in your operation? The Leading Your Team course can help give leaders the confidence, knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
Foundations of Leadership is an online, college-level leadership development program designed to fit students’ busy schedules. Students will walk away from the nine-week Leading Your Team course with insights into the components of building and leading a team, including communication skills, conflict management, talent development and ongoing performance management.
Students will also complete a real-world capstone assignment for their business. The project will focus on solving a problem or capitalizing on a missed opportunity in the business.
“If you are new to leading and managing teams or have never been through a formal leadership development program before, this course will provide the building blocks for success,” says Scott Wright, executive director of advanced retail education programs for NHPA.
