The Sturdi-Extend extension pole features a fiberglass outer tube with a steel inner tube. The pole incorporates a double-locking feature where the inner tube locks inside the outer tube as well as an exterior locking assembly where the tubes transition. The thread is a ¾-inch metal thread that is commonly used on tools for painting, cleaning and other applications. It is available in extended lengths of 4, 6, 8 and 10 feet.
