Key Home Improvement Industries See Growth

Contractors, construction crews and manufacturing all saw a spike in their email marketing efforts’ clickthrough rates (CTR), which represents the number of times an email subscriber received a marketing message, opened the email and then clicked on a link contained within the message. CTRs are a key way to measure engagement with marketing materials.

Tuesdays and Thursdays Remain Strong

When creating a marketing email, many people struggle with when to send that information to subscribers. The Campaign Monitor data shows that emails sent on Tuesdays and Thursdays show are the most likely to be opened and receive CTRs.

Email Marketing Is Direct

Across all small businesses in the U.S., the Campaign Monitor data shows email marketing remains a powerful way to reach customers for free or with a small investment. Marketing emails in the U.S. are opened roughly 17 percent of the time, and the average unsubscribe rate for these emails is only 0.1 percent.
