How to Get Funding to Improve Your Business

The National Hardware Show® is supporting independent retailers in a way it never has before—by offering $100,000 to fund business improvements.

Independent home improvement retailers are eligible to apply for the funding by submitting a short essay to the Reimagine Retail Contest about how they would use the money to make improvements related to store design, technology, employee management or products.

One prize winner will receive $100,000. All contest finalists will have their travel expenses paid to attend the National Hardware Show. Retailers will be notified by April 28 if they are finalists, and the winner will be announced May 10 at the show.

The National Hardware Show will be accepting essays through March 24 at nationalhardwareshow.com/Reimagine-Retail. The essays must be 500 words or shorter, and retailers can only enter one essay in the contest.

To be eligible, retailers must operate brick-and-mortar businesses in the U.S. and be sending at least one store representative to the National Hardware Show, which is May 9-11 in Las Vegas.
