Join Us in August!

Last month, at the 2019 National Hardware Show®, industry speakers shared the latest in company structures, while panelists discussed the latest in retail trends. New products were on display in the Inventors Spotlight and New Product areas of the show. Drinks and BBQ were served up in the Tailgate, Backyard & BBQ area featuring the all-new The Backyard Marketplace, and Tiny Living experts showed off the latest in the tiny living trend.

For attendees who soaked up all that the show had to offer and are looking for more industry insights to help improve their businesses, or for those who couldn’t attend the show this year, don’t worry: There’s more to come! The Independent Home Improvement Show (IHIS) is launching this August alongside the Independent Garden Center Show (IGC), the world’s largest trade show for independent garden center owners, managers and buyers. The brand-new home improvement show will take place Aug. 13-15 at McCormick Place in Chicago, and will help connect independent retailers with leading manufacturers for expanded sourcing and learning opportunities. Stay tuned to upcoming issues of Hot Products Hub learn more about all IHIS will have to offer!

The North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) is also on board, hosting the 2019 NRHA STIHL Foundations of Leadership Conference and the 2019 State of Independents Midyear Review during the first two days of the show. The leadership conference provides an opportunity for retailers to attend workshops and presentations about effective leadership principles, while the midyear review will provide updates on how independent retailers are faring, address any concerns retailers may have and share best practices with attendees.
