Interacting With a Smart Home

In 2019, there are few products for the home—from security systems to toasters—that don’t feature some smart technology. Driven by the category’s continued growth, the 2019 National Hardware Show® introduced an Interactive Smart Home.

The Show was held last week and included the structured house on the Show Floor, located in the Homewares category, in which attendees got hands-on with featured smart home products while learning about them through displays. The featured area was realistic as well as interactive. Participating exhibitors included:

    • Bazz Inc.
    • Jasco Products Co.
    • Jiawei Technology (USA) Ltd.
    • La Crosse Technology Ltd.
    • Plott
    • Winplus

Smart home technology has been highlighted at the show for many years. Next year’s Smart Home is already in the planning stages. Check back in with the National Hardware Show to see what’s planned for 2020.
