Group Merchandising Conference Highlights Continued Industry Optimism

Manufacturers Invited to Attend PRO Group Conference

Manufacturers will meet with PRO Group-affiliated distributors during the Group Merchandising Conference (GMC) June 16-18 at the Embassy Suites Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park.

Vendors will have the opportunity to demonstrate and showcase products to distributor buyers at the GMC in suites with private, prearranged meeting times.

In addition to the PRO member distributor companies expected to attend, Brendan Sullivan, PRO Group director of merchandising; Joy Smith, merchandise manager; and other PRO Group staff will also meet with manufacturers and distributors during the event.

“The one-on-one meetings provide an opportunity for manufacturers to meet with buyers from PRO-affiliated distributors, discuss special purchasing opportunities, demonstrate products and elaborate on programs,” Sullivan said. “The business development opportunities at this event have proven effective over time and helped establish the GMC’s reputation as a launchpad for new suppliers.”

Only a few exhibiting slots remain available for hardware, farm and lawn and garden manufacturers interested in meeting with distributors at this year’s GMC. Manufacturers interested in attending should contact Brendan Sullivan at PRO Group, Inc. by phone at 720-875-2212 or email at brendan.sullivan@pro-group.com to be directed to the appropriate merchandising contact.
