National Hardware Show Reimagines Experience With New Digital Component

The National Hardware Show® (NHS) will return to the Las Vegas Convention Center Oct. 21-23, 2021 for its 75th edition. Not only will the Show take place in the Convention Center’s new West Hall, it will also offer updated health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe experience.

Additionally, this year will be unlike any other as NHS begins its exciting evolution from an annual merchandise market to a year-round industry guidepost, delivering thought leadership, global insights and unrivaled sourcing and networking opportunities to members of the hardware and home improvement communities and beyond.

“As a mission-based Show, we are here to help the industry navigate rapidly changing global tides and offer resilience strategies that ensure success tomorrow,” says Beth Casson, event leader for NHS. “The 75th edition of NHS and our new year-round platform aim to power businesses with critical global insights, upcoming trends, unrivaled sourcing and unparalleled opportunities for connection and collaboration.”

The evolved NHS experience will include three new platforms in 2021, all designed to serve the industry:

NHS Connects/365 Platform
NHS Connects is the digital home of NHS and a hub for insight, discovery, information and connection in the hardware and home improvement industry. The year-round online platform allows members to source the newest products and vendors, connect with new and current customers and stay up-to-date with the latest industry education and content.

With 365-day digital showrooms and integrated sales lead management, NHS Connects links manufacturers and suppliers with more than 36,000 leaders at independent retailers, mass/big box retailers, wholesalers, distributors, co-ops, import-export specialists and online retailers.

HABITAT
HABITAT is a new platform by NHS that delivers future outlooks, key global insights and opportunities to build community. The intersection of merchandise and mission, this platform will live both online and on-site at the upcoming event.

HABITAT is a showcase for big ideas, ingenuity, and innovation; driven by global shifts in culture, technology and the environment that are shaping our homes and how we live. More than a thought leadership incubator, HABITAT is a lens on the future and how our industry can rise to meet the changes in our world.

PUNCHlist
PUNCHlist is NHS’s new editorial newsletter. The biweekly industry roundup will highlight the cultural shifts shaping the future of the hardware and home improvement industry. In addition to showcasing global trends, PUNCHlist includes interviews with and coverage of the most innovative companies, products and ideas that are responding to our changing world with imagination, ingenuity, and courage.

PUNCHlist is distributed to 45,000+ key industry leaders, decisions makers and influencers in the hardware and home improvement industry, from leading big-box and independent retailers to manufacturers, to some of the largest and most iconic household brands, to industry buying groups and media.
