NRF Issues Guidance for Retailers as COVID-19 Restrictions Ease

The National Retail Federation has released guidance for all retailers as cities, states and provinces begin to relax some COVID-19 restrictions.

Called Operation Open Doors, the plan offers helpful insight into how to implement safe social distancing protocols and how to safeguard employees’ and customers’ health as more customers begin to visit brick-and-mortar stores.

The Operation Open Doors checklist includes critical information on how to prepare your business, including appointing a cross-departmental team to ready your company and develop a transition plan. Retailers can also find insightful information on how they may introduce health screening measures and potential schedule changes to protect employees and customers.

No matter what COVID-19 restrictions may be in effect in your community, Operation Open Doors has actionable information to help your entire team welcome customers while preventing the spread of COVID-19.
