NRHA to Share Study at the IGC Show

Purchasing home improvement products from locally owned retailers generates twice as much local economic activity than purchases made at big-box chain stores, according to a study recently released by the North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) and Independent We Stand.

At the Independent Garden Center Show (IGC Show), NRHA director of member services, Allison DeWitt, will present new data from the Home Sweet Home Study, brought to you by NRHA and Independent We Stand. Her presentation, Leveraging Your Local Power, will reveal the great financial impact independent home improvement retailers have on their local communities. DeWitt will also discuss how you can leverage study findings and your other strengths as an independent retailer to drive business and better connect with your customers. DeWitt will be speaking on Tuesday, Aug. 4 in room 317 at 2 p.m.

The IGC East will be taking place Aug. 4-6 at the Baltimore Convention Center. NRHA members who wish to attend may register for a discounted rate. For more information on the show, click here.
