Spruce Up Spring Project Sales

Rather than focusing on selling products, concentrate on selling projects. The spring selling season is a prime time to promote project sales, because after a long winter consumers are eager to get outside and spruce up their homes and yards.

To get your share of the project sales, you need to have project starters priced competitively and be committed to maintaining a strong amount of safety stock of project killers. Turning a product sale into a project sale can mean the difference between a $3 transaction and a $100 transaction.

No matter what your customer has in mind, make sure your employees are prepared to help them plan and carry out their project every step of the way.
