Rocky’s Ace Adding New Store

Rocky’s Ace Hardware, which operates 32 home improvement stores in five states, plans to open a new store this spring in the Boston area.

The family-owned company will open the 10,000-square-foot store on Main Street in Middleton, Massachusetts.

“Soon a whole new audience of customers will acquaint themselves with our legendary customer service and enjoy the Rocky’s shopping experience we proudly offer,” CEO Rocco Falcone II says in a press release.

The store will offer Clark + Kensington paint, Valspar paint products, Craftsman outdoor power equipment and a variety of other items, including plumbing, hardware, electrical and cleaning supplies, the press release says. The store will also offer services such as digital chip key duplication, screen and glass repair and propane filling.

In other news, Rocky’s recently launched a new website, Rockys.com, making finding store locations and shopping online easier for customers. The mobile friendly website “Links to design and project centers, [turning] the new site into a veritable encyclopedia of knowledge,” according to a press release.

“Our affiliation with the North American Retail Hardware Association allows customers to link to a tremendously large database of product knowledge along with step-by-step guides to completing projects of all sizes,” Falcone says in the press release.

Rocky’s Ace Hardware is headquartered in Springfield, Massachusetts, and operates stores in Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. The company’s first store opened in 1926 in Springfield.
