Socially Distanced Fun

When the local Easter egg hunt got canceled, Dawne Ramshaw of Ramshaw’s Ace Hardware in Mount Shasta, California, printed Easter egg coloring pages to give away.

She invited the community to decorate the paper eggs and hang them in their homes and business windows.

On the Friday and Saturday before Easter, families drove around town looking at windows and reported back how many eggs they spotted for the chance to win prizes from the store.

Families enjoyed finding hundreds of the eggs around town and posted pictures on the store’s Facebook page.

“A lot of people were really thankful we gave them something to look forward to that weekend,” Ramshaw says.
