The Farnsworth Group, HIRI Partner for Weekly COVID-19 Updates

Market research firms The Farnsworth Group and the Home Improvement Research Institute have announced an ongoing partnership to deliver weekly updates on how COVID-19 is impacting DIYers and contractors.

The two organizations say the goal of the weekly updates is to give manufacturers and home improvement retailers consistent updates on how COVID-19 is affecting the construction and remodeling industry. The two organizations will survey 1,000 DIYers and hundreds of contractors to get a consistent pulse on their buying behaviors and project statuses.

“No doubt we’re all being impacted now both personally and professionally. Customers in building products and home improvement are also being impacted,” says Grant Farnsworth, director of business development for The Farnsworth Group. “It’s never been more important to understand how they’re being impacted and understand their behaviors so we can react quickly.”
