Thomes Brothers Hardware Celebrates 125 Years

A fifth-generation hardware store in Arlington, Minnesota, is celebrating 125 years of service in the local community. Current owner Dick Thomes, who has worked at the store since he was 12 years old, says his great-grandfather, Nick Thomes, opened the store in 1889 after several years of running the only liquor store in Arlington.
