Trends, Technology on Display at House Hasson Dealer Market

Retailers networked with manufacturers and other retailers and received updated information on new products, trends and technology at the House Hasson Hardware Country Dealer Market, held Jan. 16-18 at the Opryland Resort in Nashville.

Vice president of marketing David Helfenberger says the technology booths were slammed with the launch of House Hasson’s new Toolbox.net catalog, dealer’s website and website program and that store remodels and new stores are on track to break previous records.

“Our customers were more upbeat about business,” Helfenberger says. “The recent cold weather helped clear inventory they had on hand for 3-4 years. We feel like our customers used part of the newfound margin dollars to get ready for Spring 2014.”

House Hasson’s advertising department, led by Kim Gibbs, was also a destination at the market. Retailers received updates on circular and website promotions and the new AdViewer enhancement available through House Hasson’s online advertising system, which enables retailers to take their traditional print advertising vehicles directly to digital.

The event was capped off with a dinner and entertainment provided by Diamond Rio.
