Website Update Gives Retailers a Place to Sell Used Store Equipment, Fixtures

Ace’s Hardware Stores for Sale website initiative launched a new phase that will facilitate the buying and selling of used store equipment and fixtures for all convenience hardware retailers, no matter their affiliation.

Called Marketplace, the site now allows retailers to list items such as used fixtures, equipment and signage for 60 days for $9.95.

The website hardwarestoresforsale.com officially launched in mid-February as a listing service for all convenience hardware retailers, no matter their affiliation. It is designed to serve as a resource for hardware retailers interested in selling their business or in locating a business to purchase.

Retailers listing a store location on the site have two options: a six-month listing for $295 or a one-year listing for $495.
