What’s Happening at the National Hardware Show

Planning an event as large as the National Hardware Show (NHS), a leading industry gathering place, requires tough decision-making in a good year. With the potential for harm to the global hardware improvement community from the pandemic, NHS has made the difficult decision to move the event online this year. Here are three updates you should know about NHS:

In-Person Show Cancelled: In July, The NHS team announced the cancellation of the 2020 Show. The event, originally scheduled for May, was postponed to September due to safety concerns, but, with the continued impact of COVID-19, the September show has now been cancelled. The NHS team is hard at work, planning the 2021 Show. Pre-register here.

Virtual Show Coming Soon: NHS plans to host a virtual trade show dedicated to providing education and support that recognizes and addresses the direct and essential needs of the hardware industry. The National Hardware Virtual Show will take place on October 12-15, 2020. Information regarding registration will be released in the coming weeks. Watch for announcements here.

Digital Platform Expanding: During quarantine, the NHS team launched NHS Connects, a digital platform dedicated to providing industry content, connections, and product information for the hardware and home improvement community. The platform includes a PPE market, links to webinars, podcasts, educational content, and health and wellness resources. Check it out here.
